🌿 When the Road to Work Feels Like a Road of Questions
Every day, as I walk along the paved road leading to work, the same questions circle in my mind:
What does my dream job really look like?
When will a new door open for me?
Where should I look for opportunities?
I long for a career shift—but when will my chance come, given the system in this country ?
These questions remain unanswered as I reach the door of my now workplace.
Another day at work.
I sigh, put on a smile, and greet my coworkers.
I think back to the day I first stepped into the yard of my now workplace. At the time, I knew nothing about this institution, but just like I am now, I was longing for change.
Little did I know that this place would become my workplace for the next five years.
Now, as I sit at my desk, I recognize that this position is the very answer to a prayer I once whispered.
But five years is not a short time. So much has happened in between.
And even though I’m grateful for what I have, I can’t help but long for something more.
God knows me.
He is wise—both in His leading and in my waiting.
May He teach me patience in this in-between.
May He lead me, guide me, and prepare me for what’s next.
