I got the job
Four years ago, I was praying for a change. I was desperate for a meaningful title and responsibilities. I was wondering if my studies would ever mean something to my career journey.
Then, an opportunity came on a plate and I seized it. I said to myself that I have to give it a try because I believed I was qualified. That mindset brought my feet to the following interview for the position of Communication Manager at FDA. Despite my lack of experience in the area. It was June 2020.
And I got the job.
When thinking about this, I can't help but be awed by the God who was guiding me all along, arranging circumstances and people to contact me to apply for the position. We were amid Covid-19 pandemic time. I met challenges on the way, especially at my previous workplace, but I witnessed God working in the heart of people. So, from the time my workplace confirmed my hiring up to the my first day at work, He made things possible.
As I now look forward to a new direction in my career, I have faith that He will lead me through until I reach the next destination. In the meantime, I will give my best.
God is good. All the time.
