JULY. Live in the moment.
Life can be tough at times, but I have no excuse to give up.
This July has taught me these few things:
- Enjoy every moment, take the trip and take the chance. I know myself, I know whom I trust so I don't need to get all explanations before saying: okay, I'm in. So far, I didn't have anything to regret and I can even say that that's one of the things I like about me.
- Be wise about all the relationships in your life. Well, everybody is important in God's eyes, so should they be in mine, but I also have the choice on when to talk and who to talk to. To some extent, I've became more selective in my relationships but not up to ignoring people though.
- Don't seek exclusivity Ma'am. Isn't it ironic? Haha. But I guess I am still struggling with the battle between my selfish needs and the selfless helping hands when people need me (only when they do).
- Be bold with your principles, stand strong on what you believe. Still a long way to go but I am learning and there is hope :P
- Show open gratitude to all these wonderful people God has placed in your way. Yes, I feel I am so blessed to have had a good adviser for my paper, a very helpful examiner and a wonderful boss . I thank God for the contribution that each of them has brought in my life.
- As for the future, be ready. Actually, although I used to say "the best is yet to come", there are times when I am still scared, but...
Today, I would like to say these words of prayer:
Sight beyond what I see
You know what's best for me
Prepare my mind, prepare my heart
For whatever comes, I'm gone' be ready
Strength to pass any test
I feel like I'm so blessed
With you in control, I can't go wrong
'Cause I always know, I'm gonna be read
