AUGUST. Mission Trip

It has been a great privilege to serve the Lord in Brasil 

Even though speaking Portugues is not my cup of tea, i could witness how the Lord can use someone like me in Brasil :) Sometimes, just a smile was enough, other times, a hug. There were times where i had to pray for them and wish God's blessing upon them... Thru this mission, it seemed as if God wanted us to preach the Gospel by using our talents, our skills, our time, our bodies, our smiles, our strength, all we are, all we have and all we can give... It is such a blessing to be among God's missionaries :)

One of the most touching moments I have experienced in Brasil - Rio de Janeiro is when we met that lady (image below - the second from the right). We were praying for her neighbor when she appeared at the door. She stood behind me. When we finished praying, we asked her if she wanted to be prayed for. She agreed and one of us began to pray, then she cried, cried, cried... but the best of all is when we've left her after prayers and some encouraging words, we've left a lady with a smile on her face. Glory be to God for that wonderful moment!! & I pray that YOU Lord keep taking care of her and her baby, that they both grow in knowledge and love of YOU Savior. Amen.
